| | I made this card recently for a dear scs friend, and I am posting it now since she has received it and seen it. This card fits the Alphabet challenge letter this week for the letter F for Fall and for Friend. I first stamped the trees. Then I used a very small dotted flower stamp from the SU Watercolor Mini's stamp set (this is like from 2000) and added the "leaves" to the trees using my stamp-a-ma-jig stamp aligner and a kaleidacolor multicolor autumn leaves ink pad. Then I shaded a pale blue fall sky in and the pale green ground. I cut and matted the layers behind the image panel, then added the die cut words from suede paper and the burlap ribbon added the finishing touch this card needed. Even though this is a sympathy card, it was a fun card to make and it was part of a celebration of life for a dear man. |
